Ceramics in the city
I am exhibiting at the Geffrye Museum in Shoreditch, London this week – opening evening Thursday 22nd September 6 – 8.30pm (opening evening), then Friday 23rd – Sunday 25th September 10am – 5pm.
It is free entry – an exhibition of 55 potters in a lovely museum.

There is some self – seeded fennel outside the studio door which is looking spectacular. The bees love it too!
Open House in The Mumbles
We are taking part in an open house event this weekend in The Mumbles – held by Caroline Rees:
I’m having an exhibtion of art, photography, jewellery and plants to raise money for Maggies on behalf of Andrew Jenkins and his Tangerine Dream Machine. Tea and cake served in the garden. Music by Grace Roberts.
Exhibitors include Katie Allen, Arwen Banning, Harriet Chapman, Gill Clement, Beate Geggenwart, Sarah Hopkins, Jenny Lee-Katz, Caroline Rees, Phil Rees, Simone Robbins, Reptile, Michelle Scragg and Lesley Taylor.

Colour Bird tiles
Some bird tiles destined for Greece – it was fun painting the Hoopoe, Bee-Eaters and Golden Oriole, so I have added them to the range.

A bit of sewing
I love sewing in my free time, and always have. But recently I have got into quilting. Here is my first quilt just finished – it will be on display at Picton Castle, Pembrokeshire, 19th March – 30th April in a mixed exhibition “Skilfully Handmade Creations”.
